Cheyenne D’Erie Air Rally

Flying since 2022

No matter what type of plane you fly, the air rally is a great way to increase your proficiency while spending a day with fellow aviators. If you’re not a pilot you can still come enjoy the rally and join the post flight celebration after!

The Rally

The air rally is an event for pilots and non-pilots. The intent is to provide pilots with a chance to fly a set course including landings at towered and non-towered airports. Time is kept for fun and bragging rights in the hangar following the event. Planes will begin to depart the Erie Municipal Airport KEIK and fly to a destination airport, make 2 touch and go landings, then return to KEIK.

For non-pilots the air rally offers a chance to see planes departing and landing at Erie Municipal, and anyone is welcome to join the post flight celebration after party. Please come by!

Pilots

Welcome pilots! Are you looking for an alternative to another $100 hamburger run? Join fellow aviators for a chance to fly with a sense of purpose.

The air rally welcomes competent pilots of all skill levels. Planes will not be racing head to head, but will be released one at a time to allow proper separation, flight path and altitude options. Flights can be done VFR or IFR.

To register, all interested pilots should send their name, phone number, email, airplane tail number, make and model to Jami at mohlenair@gmail.com. Registration should be completed a week before the event. All pilots need a time keeper as part of the flight crew.
